Ibrahimovic is now running the show and he is already planning the upcoming summer transfer window in collaboration with Antonio Conte.

Conte is oriented to use his traditional 3-5-2 formation that brought him trophies everywhere but that system will overhaul the Rossoneri’s attack. The Italian coach has reportedly already chosen the player to lead the attack for next season. Antonio Conte wants to reteam with Romelu Lukaku at AC Milan. The two enjoyed success while at Inter winning the Serie A title in 2021.

Conte was the main sponsor of Romelu Lukaku’s signing convincing Inter to spend €74 million for his services in 2019. The Belgian striker eventually left to join Chelsea for a record fee of €113 million before returning to Inter with unimpressive results last season. The 30-year-old Belgium international is currently playing on loan at Roma.

While Roma are having a difficult season, Lukaku has still scored 15 goals and provided 2 assists in 28 appearances with the Italian club. In Conte’s plans, Romelu is still the perfect powerful leading man to be supported by a second striker or false nine, like Zirkzee for example. The market value of Lukaku is now around €30 million.
